Despite a slight dip compared to the previous year, the market remains buoyant, with prices showing a 3% increase compared to the 2021 peak of £240,090.

The data reveals that semi-detached homes were the most popular choice among buyers in Staffordshire. These properties accounted for the majority of sales, with an average selling price of £233,711. Terraced houses, which offer a more affordable entry point into the market, sold for an average of £187,643. Detached homes, often sought after for their larger spaces and privacy, fetched the highest average price of £396,370.

While the overall sold prices in Staffordshire were down by 3% compared to the previous year, the market still shows resilience. The slight decrease follows a period of intense market activity during the pandemic, where demand surged and prices reached record highs.
